Why breakfast is important...

Breakfast is undoubtedly my favourite meal of the day. I savour, and mindfully enjoy every mouthful, knowing it will satisfy my appetite until lunch.

Replacing sugary refined cereals with healthier options is something many of us strive for, however, the ‘one size fits all’ approach to living a healthy life is slowly being replaced by the knowledge that we are all unique. Our lifestyles, taste preferences and dietary requirements are entirely different and so what we choose to put in our breakfast bowl is a reflection of this.

Despite this, the realisation that we live in a time deficient era, often leads to compromised choices. Some skip breakfast altogether while others grab a less favourable option on the go often at the expense of our health & in many instances our pocket.

Acknowledging this along with the fact that the majority of us don’t have the time, patience or cupboard ingredients to start the day the best possible way has helped fuel our desire to launch Your UnbelievaBowl.

Many of us appreciate the importance of taking care of our physical and mental health. Making the right choices now plays more on our minds more than ever before. It’s no surprise then, that a well-balanced breakfast can play a significant role in optimising both.

Breakfast is one of the first opportunities of the day in which we can actively take care of ourselves and show ourselves some self-love. Breakfast provides the first dose of fuel with a potential to propel us energetically into our day and realistically carry us through until lunch.

Having experimented over the years with different combinations of breakfast ingredients, what I usually end up with in my bowl, is a mix based on how I am feeling, how my body feels and what I feel my body craves at that time.

As a result, I decided to create Your UnbelievaBowl – a business concept born out of my love for a nutritionally versatile and healthy breakfast.

I have always believed that where you end up in life is a direct result of all the choices you make earlier on in life. I have been lucky enough to stumble upon YourUnbelievaBowl as a result of an earlier interest in nutrition, eating for good health and more importantly improving mood and mental health.
